Scope & Acceptance
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Sciurus platform ("Service"), which enables users to perform multi-chain cryptocurrency swap operations.
By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and fully accepted these Terms. If you do not accept the Terms, you may not use the Service.

Description of Service
Sciurus is a non-custodial multi-chain cryptocurrency swap platform. The Service allows you to:
- Deposit a single cryptocurrency as input.
- Receive up to 5 different cryptocurrencies on different blockchains.
- Save custom swap configurations.
- Monitor transaction status.

Eligibility Requirements
To use Sciurus you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Reside in a country where cryptocurrency use is legally permitted.
- Not be subject to international sanctions (OFAC, EU, UN).
- Not use the Service for illegal activities, money laundering, or terrorism financing.

Account & Security
Account registration is optional. If you register:
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential.
- You are responsible for all activities conducted through your account.
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access at security@sciurus.io.
- You may not transfer or sell your account to any third party.

Fees & Payments

Fees may change without notice. Exchange rates shown are estimates and the final received amount may differ.

Risks & Limitation of Liability
Sciurus is not liable for:
- Losses from market volatility or slippage.
- Transactions sent to incorrect wallet addresses.
- Delays or failures due to blockchain network congestion.
- Unauthorised access to your account due to user negligence.
- Service interruptions for maintenance or force majeure events.
- Losses from third-party blockchain protocol or smart contract vulnerabilities.
Sciurus's maximum liability to you is limited to service fees paid in the last 3 months.

Prohibited Conduct
You may not use Sciurus for:
- Any illegal activities.
- Money laundering or tax evasion.
- Terrorism financing or violation of international sanctions.
- Market manipulation or fraudulent activities.
- Unauthorised access to Sciurus computer systems.
- Use of unauthorised bots or automated tools.
- Infringement of intellectual property rights.
Violations will result in immediate account suspension and may be reported to competent authorities.

Intellectual Property
All Sciurus content — including logo, design, code, text, and trademarks — is protected by intellectual property rights and remains the exclusive property of Sciurus or its licensors. Any unauthorised reproduction, distribution, or use is strictly prohibited.

Changes & Service Suspension
- We may modify or update these Terms at any time.
- We may suspend or discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, without notice.
- We may suspend or close accounts for Terms violations.
Material changes to the Terms will be communicated with at least 30 days' notice.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Italian law. For any dispute arising from the use of the Service, the parties agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Milan, subject to mandatory consumer protection provisions applicable in your country of residence.
If you reside in the United Kingdom, UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, and the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply in addition to these Terms. You may bring claims before UK courts.
If you are a California resident, your CCPA/CPRA rights are described in the addendum section of the Privacy Policy and in the California Rights addendum below.
